I think she is bisexual. I mean it is said that Leisha Hailey is the only one that is gay, but that does not mean that others are not as straight as an arrow.

I think that she's been pretty obvious in her answers, without really being obvious--in an interview done in april of 04 (new york times) she says, "...gender is of no consequence to me, it's a persons brain that counts." which leads me to believe that she is open to all possibilities---but that's just my opinion

Mia's L Word co-star, Lauren Holloman (Tina) kind of outed both Mia and Kate Moennig (Shane), when she was on a PBS show called 'In the Life', which is a 'gay lifestyle' show:
"I've always considered myself Bisexual, from the moment I was 16. I said that in interviews, I've said it to The Advocate...You know, someone like Mia or Kate or anyone else. What if they don't ever want to comment on their sexuality? Or what if they change their mind?"
These comments suggest Mia and Kate are at least bisexual, as there would never be an issue about an actress commenting on their heterosexuality. It's interesting that Holloman singles out the two L word actresses who have the most gay/bi rumours flying round them as 'examples'.
A lot of people seem to have their money on Mia being bisexual, but who really knows? She might really be a lesbian or she might be straight but makes these vague comments because a bit sexual ambiguity creates mystery and interest and keeps everyone happy, as they can all live out their 'I can sleep with Mia fantasies'.
Mia seems a pretty private person, so unless you personally start sleeping with her, there's very little chance of finding out.

And the actors haven't been sterotyped.

Personally, I respect Mia's privacy, esp. regarding her chosen lifestyle, whatever it may be. I'm just thinking this lingering question would serve to help her career, most esp. ever since the L word. More curiousity, more fans, and hopefully more big movie and bigger tv roles.
To most guys, its a win/win situation, she's either hot or a hot lesbian. :lol:

also, there is no real proof of her actually being gay(or even bi),there's no rumors of her ever dating or seen with a women, no one has ever had sighted her (in or coming out) of any Gay bars, I'm for sure I would really notice a pretty girl like Mia if she was in a gay bar, she does say thing about girls, but their
really not sexual, and their more like little intentional "is she or isn't she" teases, that just could be pranks.

Apparently Leisha is out, dating a girl named Nina. Shane is also gay dating the same girl for a year, and may now rumoured to be linked with Portia's ex. As for Mia I would say she is probably bi... come on who isn't these days? Jennifer Beals is married and expecting her first baby, and Laurel is also married but admits being bi. As for the rest I have not heard anything... but I would suspect at least bi.

It could all just be an act to give The L word show more credit. Who knows? Hollywood is a very deceiving place.
