I'm feeling that this page isn't capturing the true essence of Ms. Kirshner.
For starters, i think i'm going to have to get my television reception
fixed, so that i may watch shows, such as Conan O'Brien's, from which i
understand i missed a wonderful time. Also, Wyoming's lack of radio
stations with personality, and the perks of big city stations, i'm missing
the great radio interviews as well. If anyone out there in cyber-land can
help fill this void, i'd be appreciative!! Kick me an e-mail and let me know if anyone's taped
this by chance.
Actually, i must admit that i'm still in shock that Mia has actually noticed this dedication. I wish i had more details, i mean, did she like it?? Was she as impressed with it as many of her fans are, as i am?? Did she think maybe i was being too intrusive, that maybe none of this is any of my business?? If she liked it, would she like a personal hand in it's maintenance?? So many questions are running through my head... i'm still in a reverie!!
After reading the November Movieline, i found that my enchantment with Ms. Kirshner is growing. Interviews are so wonderful, because they convey so much of the personality of the interviewee. I think Mia has such a quality of portraying dark, sensuous, and sometimes naughty characters, yet appearing so bright, and beautiful. It's breathtaking the way she plays her roles so intelligently. From what i've seen, she puts a lot of time and dedication into her roles, so that she can put on a flawless performance. Maybe i'm biased somewhat, after all she is my favorite actress, and after Exotica, Love and Human Remains, Johnny's Girl, and even the role she played in The Crow: City of Angels (ok, the movie wasn't great, but some sequels seem doomed from the start . . . would it have been so bad if the original Crow hadn't preceeded it??), which was recreated rather exceptionally. I'm looking forward to seeing Mad City and Anna Karenina, both of which i've read rave reviews about. She's a wonderful actress, with some outstanding movies. Eventually, i will have seen them all, and will own them all, as any true fan should!
Well, Ms. Kirshner, i hope this site met with your approval. I've tried to make it a tasteful dedication, and tried not to go overboard at the same time. I hope you'll accept my sincere admiration, as i find you truly enchanting, and i hope that your studies continue to go well, along with your acting. You are truly a sensational young woman, and i'm just . . . well, i'm touched that you've even noticed this small, humble section of the internet. Thank you! [bows to her while taking her hand] It's been a pleasure to keep this site active!
